The Wooden Blanquilt

This was my Saturday.  Hoping that the boys would entertain themselves while I created a wedding blanquilt in less than 10 hours.

And they did.  They even said, "Why are you making wood?"

Perfect question.  The wedding invitation looked like tree bark with the bride and groom's wedding date and initials.  I simplified it a bit and was pretty happy with the results.

I finished with enough time to add a velvet bow, shower and get dressed.  Not the most relaxing Saturday, but clearly one of my most productive!
